By accessing or using CandidHire at candidhire.navayuvan.com you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. What CandidHire is
CandidHire is an AI-powered resume screening tool that evaluates how well a candidate's resume and public online presence match a given job description. It is provided as a personal project by Navayuvan Subramanian, free of charge for students.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. By signing in, you confirm you meet this requirement. Use of the service is currently free for students; we reserve the right to introduce pricing for non-student or high-volume usage in the future.
3. Your account
You sign in via Google OAuth. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure. You may not share your account or use it to submit evaluations on behalf of others at scale.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit content you do not have the right to share (e.g., another person's resume without their consent).
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API.
- Use the service for automated bulk processing (the free tier allows up to 5 evaluations per account).
- Submit malicious content intended to manipulate the AI or exploit the service.
- Misrepresent evaluation results to employers or recruiters.
5. AI-generated content disclaimer
Evaluation results are generated by a large language model (xAI Grok) and are provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute professional career advice, guarantee employment outcomes, or represent the views of any employer. CandidHire makes no warranty that evaluations are accurate, complete, or free of error. Always exercise independent judgement before making career decisions.
6. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of any resume or content you submit. By submitting content, you grant CandidHire a limited, non-exclusive licence to process it solely for the purpose of generating your evaluation. We do not use your submissions to train AI models or share them with third parties beyond what is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Service availability
CandidHire is provided “as is” without any uptime guarantees. As a personal project, the service may be paused, modified, or discontinued at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CandidHire and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, for the free tier, is zero).
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Navayuvan Subramanian from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the service.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tamil Nadu, India.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with an updated effective date.
